Our drawer cardboard boxes are mainly used for packaging jewelry, cosmetics, food, clothing, and accessories and are suitable for: e-commerce sales, gift giving, offline retail display, and other scenarios. Considering the transportation, display, and customer opening experience requirements in different scenarios, our drawer cardboard box design takes into account firmness, beauty, and convenience.

Dimension measurement: Accurately measure the length, width, and height of the product to millimeters. For products with irregular shapes, record their maximum external dimensions and the dimensional data of key parts. On this basis, reserve 5 mm of space margin for the internal dimensions of the drawer box to facilitate the placement and removal of products and prevent the products from shaking in the box. For example, if the product size is 150mm long × 80mm wide × 30mm high, the internal dimensions of the drawer box can be designed to be 155mm long × 85mm wide × 35mm high.
Weight consideration: Weigh the product weight and select the cardboard material of appropriate strength according to the product weight. For heavier products, thick corrugated cardboard is used to enhance the load-bearing capacity; for lighter products, thinner cardboard can be used to balance cost and function. If the product weight is 500 grams, three-layer B-flute corrugated cardboard can be used, which has good compression resistance and cost-effectiveness.
Drawer part: adopts a pull-out structure, and the drawer side panel and the bottom panel are connected by folding and locking to ensure the stability of the structure. The front end of the drawer is designed with a handle. The shape of the handle can be customized according to the product style and the preferences of the target audience, such as round, square, or special shape. The handle size is suitable for easy finger grasping, and the general length is 30-50 mm.
Outer box part: The size of the outer box is slightly larger than the drawer, forming a nested relationship. The side panels of the outer box and the front and rear panels are butt-jointed or overlapped, and fixed with glue or tape to ensure the overall strength of the box. The top of the outer box can be designed as an open or flip-up structure, and the flip-up part can be set with magnetic suction or buckle to increase the stability of the closure.
Strengthening structure: Double-layer cardboard or triangular reinforcement sheets are used to reinforce the corners of the drawer and the outer box to improve the box's impact resistance. For larger boxes, support plates can be added inside to prevent the box from deforming during transportation.

Cardboard type:
Outer layer: White cardboard or coated paper is used. White cardboard has high stiffness and a smooth surface, which is suitable for printing exquisite patterns and can improve the grade of the product; coated paper has bright colors and high clarity, which is suitable for product packaging with extremely high requirements for printing effects. If the product is positioned as a high-end gift, 300-400 grams of coated paper can be selected.
Inner layer: For the drawer part, if the product is heavier, corrugated cardboard is used; lighter products can use ggrayboardpaper. The flute type of corrugated cardboard can be selected according to the weight of the product, such as E flute for lighter products and B flute or C flute for heavier products. For example, for drawers containing small electronic products, E-flute corrugated cardboard can be used as the inner layer material.
Environmental considerations: recyclable and degradable cardboard materials are preferred, which is in line with the current environmental protection concept. In the process of material selection, ensure that suppliers provide relevant environmental certifications, such as FSC forest certification, to prove the sustainability of the material source.

Design exclusive graphic elements according to product characteristics and brand image. Graphics may include product patterns, brand logos, auxiliary decorative patterns, etc. For example, if the product is cosmetics, you can design exquisite floral patterns; if it is an electronic product, you can use lines and geometric patterns with a strong sense of technology.
Choose colors that match the product attributes and the preferences of the target audience. Warm colors are often used in food and gift packaging to create a warm atmosphere; cool colors are suitable for technology products to show professionalism and calmness. At the same time, pay attention to the coordination and unity of colors with the brand standard colors. For example, if the brand's main color is blue, blue can be used as the main color on the packaging, with white or silver as the auxiliary color.
Adopt advanced printing technologies, such as four-color printing, spot color printing, UV printing, etc. Four-color printing can present rich color levels; spot color printing can achieve accurate reproduction of specific colors; UV printing can form a highlight or frosted effect on the surface of the printed pattern, increasing the three-dimensional sense and texture. For brand logos, UV glazing technology can be used to make them more eye-catching.

Make samples according to the design plan, and strictly follow the size, structure, and material requirements during the proofing process. Conduct comprehensive tests on the samples, including the smoothness of pulling and pulling, structural stability, printing effect, etc., and adjust the design in time if problems are found.
After confirming that the samples are correct, communicate with the supplier about mass production matters. During the production process, we arrange for special personnel to follow up and supervise the quality of raw materials and the implementation of production processes to ensure that the product quality is consistent with the proofing.
Develop detailed quality inspection standards and conduct sampling inspections on the finished drawer cardboard boxes. Inspection items include dimensional deviation, structural firmness, printing clarity, color accuracy, etc. For unqualified products, we will rework them in time to ensure that the quality of the delivered products meets the requirements.
