I. The outer diameter of the mailer box is adjusted appropriately according to the thickness of the selected material.
Accurately weigh your product weight and choose a packaging material of appropriate strength according to the weight to avoid damage during transportation due to too thin a material, or cost waste due to too thick a material.
Fully understand the characteristics of your product, such as whether the product is fragile, susceptible to moisture, or has sharp edges. For fragile products, the subsequent design focuses on strengthening buffer protection; for products that are susceptible to moisture, choose materials with good moisture-proof performance; for products with sharp corners, make targeted optimizations on the internal packaging structure to prevent the corners from piercing the box body.

Clarify the usage scenarios of the mailer box you want to customize, whether it is for e-commerce express delivery, offline store retail packaging, gift packaging, etc. Different usage scenarios have different requirements for the durability, aesthetics, and convenience of opening the mailer box. For example, e-commerce express delivery pays more attention to the box's compression and drop resistance; gift packaging has higher requirements for appearance design and opening experience.
In-depth research on the target audience of your product; analyze their aesthetic preferences, consumption habits, and expectations for packaging. If the target audience is a young and fashionable group, the packaging design can use bright colors and trendy elements; if it is for business people, the design style should be simple and atmospheric, highlighting quality.
Collect the brand's visual identification system information, including the brand logo, standard color, auxiliary graphics, etc., to ensure that the mailer box design is highly consistent with the brand image in terms of color and graphic application, and strengthen the brand communication effect.
Understand the brand's core values and positioning, and integrate the brand concept into the mailer box design. For example, the environmental protection concept can be reflected by selecting degradable materials; the high-end positioning can be demonstrated through exquisite printing technology and unique structural design.
II. Creative Design StageImprove on the standard mailer box structure, such as adding a special folding structure, and the box cover is designed in specific styles, such as double-layer, with tongue, etc., to enhance the sealing and stability of the box body.
Make the box more compact after folding, which is convenient for storage and transportation; or design a reusable structure so that consumers can easily fold the mailer box into other practical items, such as storage boxes, etc., after use, to enhance the added value of the packaging.
Design a unique structure based on product characteristics. For products with irregular shapes, design an adjustable internal support structure to ensure that the product is fixed and stable in the box; for multi-product combination packaging, create a layered or grid structure to avoid collision and friction between products.

Pre-mark the cardboard to ensure that the folding line is clear and accurate, which is convenient for folding and assembly. The depth and width of the folding line are adjusted according to the thickness of the material to avoid cracks or unclear folds during the folding process.
Design the name of the buffering material, such as bubble pads, sponges, etc., at the four corners and bottom of the mailer box, and the buffering structure to further protect the product from collision and vibration during transportation.
If the product is heavy or needs to be easy to carry, design the side of the shipping box: handle style, such as perforated rope, plastic handle, etc. The position and size of the handle should be reasonable to ensure comfortable and safe use.
The opening method of the shipping box is designed as [specific method, such as directly opening, zipper opening, etc.], which is convenient for users to take the product and ensures that the opening process is smooth and effortless.
(II) Material Selection and MatchingCommonly used materials include corrugated cardboard, cardboard, kraft paper, etc. Corrugated cardboard has good compression resistance, high strength, wear resistance, and environmental protection, which can meet the protection needs of products and is suitable for heavy or fragile products; cardboard has high stiffness and good printing effect, which is suitable for products with high requirements for appearance; kraft paper is environmentally friendly and tough, and can be used for brands pursuing a natural style.
Consider the combination of materials, such as using beautifully printed cardboard on the outer layer of the mailer box and corrugated cardboard on the inner layer, which can not only ensure a beautiful appearance but also enhance protection performance; or use thickened materials in key parts of the box, such as corners, to improve overall strength.
Use advanced printing technology, such as digital printing, UV printing, etc., to achieve high-precision and high-definition printing effects. Full-color printing is performed on the surface of the mailer box, and the printed content includes the brand logo, product name, product picture, instructions for use, precautions, etc. In addition to conventional brand logo and product information printing, gradient color, three-dimensional patterns, and other design techniques can be used to enhance the visual impact of the packaging. Design interactive printing elements, such as printing a QR code on the surface of the mail box. After scanning, consumers can obtain detailed information about the product, how to use it, brand stories, etc., which increases interaction with consumers and improves brand favorability.
We have formulated strict quality inspection standards, including inspection indicators for dimensional deviation, printing quality, material strength, structural stability, etc. After the product is produced, sampling inspection is carried out according to a certain proportion, and professional inspection equipment and tools such as calipers, compression testing machines, colorimeters, etc. are used to test the various indicators of the shipping box.
